Before you hit the trail
ATV Tours Hawaii features tours on Kauai, Oahu, Maui and Hawaii Island, also called the Big Island. Each island page lists its operators, vehicles, tour options and locations.
An individual ATV typically has handlebars and a seat you straddle. A side-by-side UTV has seats, a steering wheel and room for passengers. Some tours let qualified guests drive; others offer a guide-driven ride. Check the vehicle details for your chosen operator.
Minimum ages depend on the operator and whether a guest drives or rides as a passenger. An advertised passenger age does not mean a child can drive. Each tour lists its own requirements, which you should review before booking.
Choose covered shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dusty or muddy. Follow your operator’s footwear, clothing and safety requirements. Bring swimwear only when your chosen tour includes an optional water stop.
